28. The Law of Perfection
This simple law of the universe or of the mind is always working. The perfect mind of the universe which dwells within us and in which we dwell (or it around us) is always growing, always expanding creatively as creation, through us, as us, and around us. How then, can God which is everywhere, (there is no place God is not) not be perfect? How can people, places, circumstances not all be functioning like clock-work? Everything is inter-related and interdependent, every thought, every action causing a chain-reaction in ways that only our Higher-Mind/Greater Intelligence understands. It is impossible in one lifetime for any of us to understand the true nature of the Divine Order/scheme of things, so we must unconditionally trust its ways and means, for if doubt sets in, or logic, or over-thinking leading to depression and cynicism, then the chain-reaction caused by these human-mind thoughts will cause a ripple/blip/clog! (in extreme cases of on-going skepticism, negativity and doubt) Would we stop or interfere with a conveyer-belt which is loaded with items in a perfect way and order, or would we allow it to continue moving forward?
The law of the Universal Mind is Perfection, so we have no choice but to let It do Its work of expanding (The Law of No-Thingness), sitting back with curiosity (The Law of Inquisitiveness) observing and marveling at its beauty (The Law of Wonder) and perfection. (The Law of Perfection)
“When a vessel is full, we see its functionality; when that vessel is empty, we see its beauty. Become empty and you’ll see your true beauty, not just your functionality.”-Zen saying
Scientific-Treatment/Affirmative-Prayer/Spiritual/Meditative Mind-Treatment
We take the breath, releasing it. We sit comfortably in the here and now, gently closing our eyes, focusing in upon the lantern of our soul, our third-eye from which light begins to emanate. Our breathing is becoming slower and more relaxed, as we become aware of any images flashing before us, from deep within us. The light becomes greater and greater, expanding beyond our physical bodies now, to the left of us, and to the right of us, before us and behind us; out the top of our heads, and out through the soles of our feet, ad infinitum. This light wraps us up in a cocoon of peace, and of love; we feel safe and warm. We become aware of the perfect order of the Universe, right here and right now; It keeps planets rotating perfectly within their orbits; It has made the stars and the heavens; It has made the earth, the great seas, and the trees; It has made us, functioning in a great Divine-Design of perfection: our cells, or circulation; our organs, all functioning in perfect harmony with each other; our lungs, our heart, all moving with a Divine rhythm. All is well. All is Perfect.
And So It Is!
Amen.
