23. The Law of Gratitude
One of the most important laws to live is the Law of Gratitude, for it is the gateway to peace, love, and our true, higher self. It is the gateway to self-healing, and the healing of others.
Notice how when things are not turning out the way we would like them to, as soon as we take the breath in and release, turning away from the illusionary physical, exterior world of happenstance, we begin to feel joy; we begin to feel at peace, even contentment. Before we know it, we might even feel grateful even for the so-called difficulties in our life, for they have made us stronger and even more resourceful, patient, and loving!
With this “attitude of gratitude”, we loosen any non-physical, self-imposed limitations or clogs, gently releasing them to the light of God’s compassion, mercy, and strength.
Living the Law of Gratitude means that every moment of every day, we are living the Law of the Presence/Present, giving thanks for everything we have, and every one in our life, thankful that we can experience everything that comes into our reality, using all of our senses, our heart, and our mind; allowing divine wisdom and intelligence to flow up from the centre of our mind through our “mind-shaft” to provide inspiration for ourselves and others. We are alive: how grateful are we that we are alive?
“Live each moment in gratitude for all that is.”-Zen saying
Scientific-Treatment/Affirmative-Prayer/Spiritual/Meditative Mind-Treatment
I am peace, love, joy, Higher Intelligence, wisdom, and creativity. I am creation itself! In this one sacred moment in time, I see through the eyes of gratitude, thankful even for the dust. I am grateful for this one life, so that I can share and give of my mind, body, and soul, and in return, naturally receive that which I have given.
I am thankful for my breath, my heartbeat.
And so it is!
Amen.
