21. The Law of Detachment
This one is akin to the Law of Compassion in that you can have subjective eyes if you are sympathetic, empathetic, and compassionate.
You will be of no use to anyone (including yourself) if you are “attached” to a particular situation. For example, when a patient comes to me for healing, I must detach from his or her situation so that I have a clear, non-partisan/non-judgmental view which I can then mirror back to the patient. The patient’s illness or dis-ease is already a result of his own self-judgment (even self-loathing in extreme cases) and lack of unconditional self-love, whether he recognizes it or not. They are not thinking or seeing “right”, that is to say there is an absence of love in their life. I must then lead them to discover the origin(s) of their current situation, but I would not be able to if I felt their pain too much, or if I empathized too much with them; taking their side is good, taking their viewpoint is counterproductive for us both. The same applies for a parent: the mother or father will always naturally have a bias in favor of their child, which can even lead to enabling them. When a parent can be subjective and detached, yet compassionate, almost seeing their child’s situation as if it is someone else’s child, they will be the most constructive for the child’s state/situation.
Living the Law of Detachment is clarity and strength.

Scientific-Treatment/Affirmative-Prayer/Spiritual/Meditative Mind-Treatment
Right here and right now, as we unify with the I Am that I am, we feel a vastness within ourselves; an infinite and unending universe of possibilities within ourselves. We experience the peace, the love, the Infinite Wisdom and Higher Intelligence where we are, for God is everywhere, there is no place where God is not, therefore where we are, God is; peace is; love is; joy is; wisdom and creative intelligence is. We are unified with this Infinite Presence right here, right now. Within the brilliance of the light of God’s love, we lean back and melt; one with the light; one with God. Peace; be still. Our breathing is slower, more relaxed. In this unification with the Holy Spirit, we take on the clarity of non-judgment, so that we now see as if through the eyes of God, as if through the renewed-eyes of a child. From this moment on, we see every person and every situation as a mirror of our pure, divine Self: beauty, love, and joyous wisdom. No bad exists anywhere, only the goodness, mercy, and joy of God. Everything and everyone just is. For God is neither bad nor good, but perfection. We affirm and declare that we will retain this clarity of non-judgment and detachment henceforth, for every day of our lives. It is so, even now.
And so it is!
Amen.
