16. The Law of Inquisitiveness
I am hoping you are curious about this one, for it is exactly what this law is all about!
Have you ever noticed that when you react, that is to say panic, get angry, frustrated, etc. etc. you create an obstacle in regards to your situation? It is almost as if your negative mood, attitude, reactions get in the way of prosperity, solutions, and progress.
The natural laws of curiosity, or Law of Inquisitiveness encourages a subconscious “wanting to know” or “wanting to understand” everything. I am not necessarily encouraging analyzing, or even over-analyzing, but more of a questioning “why?”, for if you do, you will begin to look at things as if through the eyes of a child (The Law of Wonder) and seek to understand rather than to react/battle/get angry, etc.
It was the Law of Inquisitiveness working on an unconscious level that made you pick up this book! That Law of the Universe that encourages you to be all that you can be (The Law of All You Can Be), encouraging Source to work through you as “You”; your soul’s purpose/Spirit blossoming and blooming through you!
Naturally, you will always ask “why?” or “how?” so we say why fight this? Let your natural tendency towards curiosity come forth when there appears to be poverty or sadness, lack or despair and ask how you can help! Rather than lining up, why not make that line, asking how. Rather than be the victim, why not take “Pro-Active Thoughts” and actions (as in “Magic Happens!”) by acknowledging that natural curiosity to come forth, and living the Law of Inquisitiveness for a more quality journey of discovery.
Living the Law of Wonder, that is to say, seeing life as if for the first time (as others say, “seeing through God’s eyes) is akin to living the Law of Inquisitiveness.
When you are living the Law of Inquisitiveness, you question everything; not in a challenging way, but in a probing, curious, and inquiring manner.
For example, say you have lost your job, even though you had seniority, and you were looking towards retirement in a few years; you were not left with any benefits or pension from the job. You still have some debts such as a mortgage and/or vehicle payments in addition to the usual food, clothing, and “living” requirements. You are shocked, initially, and go through the various stages of shock and grief, as in this book, and also “Magic Happens!” If you follow the steps for healing outlined, you will come away from the experience whole, healed, and complete, happy, content, and living most of the Laws of the Universe.
The alternative is the usual shock, but then anger, resentment, confusion, even fear and panic. As outlined previously, the emotional reaction of anger can often be a springboard to taking constructive action, (the Law of Righteous Determination) especially if you feel paralyzed and depressed, but we prefer that you respond from an even Higher-resonating perspective, not react. Taking the sacred breath first (drawing from you inner pool of Infinite supply and resources) will relax you physiologically, oxygenating your cells and blood, and enabling you to enter into an altered state of Higher Consciousness more easily; do so. Close your eyes and focus on the rhythm of your heart or your breath, feeling like
you have all the time in the world. Remember that as you pass through the various levels of your unconscious human/flawed mind, (as outlined before) you will feel distracted, or as if you are done; merely take the breath again and continue; as there are three levels until you reach your God-Mind/God-Centre of your mind, this will happen three times. Eventually you will feel a laziness/contentedness; a knowing that you can get up at any time, but choose not to; this is where you want to be! It is at this level of meditation that you can automatically heal, for the mind heals the body which heals the spirit, etc. You may even experience “Divine Light”, as opposed to your own aura/human energy field at the earlier unconscious human-mind levels. Regardless, regular practice of this shutting out of human-mind chatter will result in divine Inspiration floating up to the surface level of your mind, enabling you to respond in a Higher-vibrational manner more frequently than you react emotionally. You may also give yourself affirmative prayer at this level of your mind to effect healing, growth, and change on all levels of your life. This continued spiritual practice will result in a greater likelihood of living the Spiritual Laws of the Universe, including the Law of Inquisitiveness.
The very fact that you are reading this book indicates that you are a “seeker”, one striving for more out of life. Part and parcel of this is leading a life filled with wonder, with curiosity, always striving, always inquiring. You are living the Law of Inquisitiveness, always asking “why?”, or “who?”, or “what?”, “where?”, “when?” and “how?”…otherwise known as the five W’s and How.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”-Matthew 7:7
Scientific-Treatment/Affirmative-Prayer/Spiritual/Meditative Mind-Treatment
We affirm and we declare in the Light and Love of Source which we a part of and which is a part of us, right here and right now, that we are curious, we are inquiring, we are always asking who, what, where, when, why, and how, and feeling whole, healed and complete as a result. We give thanks for this knowing. We release this, letting it be, And So It Is.
Amen.
